At the Company’s Cambridge headquarters in Cambridge, UK, Keronite has the equipment and expertise necessary to carry out detailed assessments of coating microstructure, porosity, uniformity, surface thickness and hardness, ensuring that the coatings delivered consistently meet the customer’s requirements.
Keronite International Ltd has also experienced staff capable of undertaking failure investigations of coatings and recommend possible solutions in terms of design, materials selection, corrosion, wear and other aspects of surface engineering.
Keronite also has two environmental chambers capable of undertaking an extensive range of corrosion, humidity and cyclic corrosion tests to most ASTM, DIN and ISO standards.
In addition, to our in-house test capabilities, close partnerships with research institutes such as the Gordon Laboratory at the University of Cambridge extend our characterisation capability to include a wide range of state-of-the-art X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, porosimetry, chemical, thermal and mechanical testing capabilities as well as computational modelling facilities for simulations and fundamental research.
